Hardware Lane Gin celebrates the story of our laneway and the building we’re proud to call home—once Jenkins Hardware for over 80 years. Crafted with a strong sense of place, this modern Australian gin brings together bright native botanicals like lemon myrtle and local pepperberry leaf, balanced by soft elderflower, fresh orange zest, and classic juniper. Clean, vibrant, and distinctly Daylesford, perfect to be enjoyed as a Gin & Tonic.

Hepburn Distillery began with the idea of LOCAL - working with the wonderful producers in our region to create spirits that are totally UNIQUE. As the new owners, we are determined to continue this legacy.
Wherever we can, we source local, seasonal and organic ingredients to give our premium gins and vodkas their full-bodied flavours.
SUSTAINABILITY is at the heart of every decision we make from the food miles of our ingredients to the rainwater collected from our roof that we use in all our products and processes. We also feed the leftover pulp from our potato vodka and whiskey to local pigs.
We are a family owned and run distillery, with our 4 adult children (and Maisie the dog) often helping out. What you drink has been lovingly created from a passion for quality, flavour and the beautiful region we call home.

Light straw in colour, this release opens with a soft note of butterscotch on the nose. The palate is smooth and easy-drinking, with gentle oak and light caramel adding subtle depth. A mild warmth builds through the middle, keeping it balanced and approachable.
It finishes with lingering vanilla and a subtle peppery dryness, clean and not overly sweet. An easy, well-rounded whisky that’s just as good neat as it is shared.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
The majority of distilleries in Australia make their products by buying in bulk alcohol, diluting and flavouring it. At Hepburn Distillery we believe that every part of the distilling process makes a difference. That is why we ferment and distil all our own alcohol from scratch using organic ingredients (where we can) and rainwater.
All our products are triple-distilled for smoothness and many are steeped for months and years to impart the full flavour that we know you love.
If high-street alcohol brands are white bread - we are the equivalent of an artisan sourdough bakery. We test and balance each batch we make to ensure it is of the highest quality - that’s why we make premium spirits.
